Jacob freed me from the madhouse, riddled by guilt. Around 1873, he traveled with Jacob and the other initiates to India in order to learn the fear tactics of the Indian Brotherhood, a group that Jacob's sister, Evie Frye, had joined. After the death of Starrick in 1868, he was liberated from the asylum and brought into the Assassin fold by Jacob Frye to be trained among a selection of new initiates. Traumatized by her death, Jack was placed in Lambeth Asylum, where poor treatment and negligence only further aggravated his mental instability.

Up until 1888, Jack became infamous following a series of gruesome murders of women in reality, these women were fellow Assassins disguised as prostitutes who attempted to stop his spiral of madness. Jack sucessfully usurped control of the Rooks, crippling the influence of Frye in the city, and began to recruit new followers to help him enforce his own ruthless outlook of the Assassin Creed. Jack (unknown – 1888), formerly known as Jack the Lad during his youth, and widely feared under the alias "Jack the Ripper", was a member of the British Brotherhood of Assassins, active in the Whitechapel district of London.ĭisillusioned with Jacob Frye's leadership and view of the Creed, Jack decided to overthrow his mentor and tried to seize control of the Brotherhood during the 1880s. After unearthing the Ripper's hideout beneath Lambeth Asylum she attacks and kills him, before discovering that Jacob is alive. After finding Jacob's lodgings Evie takes some non-lethal fear tools used by the Indian Brotherhood, and begins hunting the Ripper. He also tells her that she may be the last Assassin in London, and the only one capable of stopping the Ripper. This time however, he goes for the kill, although it is unknown whether Jacob is dead or not.įollowing the incident, Jacob's sister Evie Frye arrives from India where she is greeted by police inspector Frederick Abberline, who informs her that Jacob is missing and can be presumed dead. After surviving the attack, Jacob reaches his lodgings, but the Ripper arrives and attacks again. Jacob goes after the Ripper, who begins following him before eventually attacking. Soon after Nellie arrives to inform Jacob about the next victim of the Ripper, and on reaching the crime scene they find two women murdered. The story begins with the Assassin Jacob Frye meeting Mr Weaversbrook, who Jacob warns not to publish Jack's letters as he wants to spread fear in London.
